I am going to apply for the Amex Delta or BCE in January and I wanted to know if it looks bad to creditors to have opened the following accounts over the last 6 months? I applied for the cards after my mortgage closed in June 2012.
My credit file history is 27+ years thanks to both my Amex PRG and Zync backdating to 1985 each and my current AAOA is 5yrs 3mos.
Chase Freedom (opened 6/12)
USAA Plat MC (opened 8/12)
USAA Amex (opened 6/12)
Citi Diamond MC (opened 6/12)
Lowes (opened 7/12)
Nah, 6 months is a good age on them, especially considering your credit history is a LOT older than them! Considering your AAoA is high because of the AMEXs, you should have no problem! Plus that extra month of age will only help by waiting until January best of luck!

I was in a similar situation.
I had 750 FICO'S when I applied for my Chase cards after having my Amexcards for only two months.
Thanks Daybreak.
Im a little concerned because my Fico scores are not really that high.
Overall util is at 44% right now so maybe the Amex Delta is the best choice in January????
Exp - 695
TU - 710
EQ - 698

I think the main thing weighing down your FICO scores is that 44% utilization! Any way to pay them down to 10% or under? Also reducing how many cards have balances may help too! But if you plan on applying with a 30%+ utilization, then yes, AMEX Delta may be the easiest to obtain and more likely to get an approval for!
