I just thought I'd share another great credit union that I have come across. Wings Financial is headquartered in the suburbs of Minneapolis and is open to any resident of the area as well as residents of the Seattle metropolitan area and any US Air Transportation employees. I opened a share savings account and applied for a credit card and was approved. Albeit for a low limit (500) but the analyst said that after six months it would be reviewed for an increase. The great thing about this card is that the interest rates are either 8.9 or 11.9 (fixed rate) and there are no annual fees, no penalty fees, balance transfer fees and they are bankruptcy friendly. I emailed the credit union before I applied and they responded that every application would be considered so long as the bankruptcy has been discharged. I encourage anyone that is eligible to apply!
