WoW!!! Just Got a Citi Platinum Select

[ Edited ]

I put in an application on Wednesday.  Got a message saying something about theyll review my application and ill know in a few weeks.

Yesterday on Thursday, they called me to verfiy me, since I ahd a fraud alert.

My Equifax is 789.  Experian (Fako) 747.  Transunion 714.

They told me they were pulling Experian (Fako) only.

I wake up this morning, 2 days later and I have an Inquiry.  I got ahead and pull another Experian Report.

My Credit L:imits are

Orchard Bank - $400

Wells Fargo – $1400

Dell – $3000

Macys - $500

Walmart - $$1200 –

Total - $6000

Now they havent said Im approved yet, but I saw this on my credit report.

Score jump from 747 to 761.

This $8400 credit limit, is more then all my Credit cards combined.  Its the largest card limit ive ever had in my life.  Ive finally made it to the big leagues.

Equifax - 789 Experian - 747 (Fako) Transunion - 715

Starting Score: 620
Current Score: 789
Goal Score: 800

Congrats !!

Great CL. Your score jump, was it on your EQ? Probably the new CL lowered your util?

Re: WoW!!! Just Got a Citi Platinum Select

Congratulations! This IS great news. Amazing that this one card has a higher CL than all of your other cards combined.

Citi is historically good with initial credit limits. They are also very good with CLI.

It's really scary what a increase of util by 10% can do to your score. My util increased by about 4% and I lost 8 points on TU

In tihs case your util went down. I eager to see my score after my discover reports. Util will go down by 25%
