Woot Woot Another happy happy NFCU member

So I check this morning Credit Karma and have score at 731...have the NFCU preapproval but wanted to wait until payments post and except for Exxon they did and Exxon is high...I use it a lot and with the price of gas it gets high quick....anyways hit the preapproval button...20 seconds later I got this

Congratulations! Based on your creditworthiness, you have been approved for a cashRewards Visa credit card. Your new credit line will be $15,000.00. Your APR will be prime plus 7.4%. You should receive your new card(s) in 7-10 normal mail delivery days.

Oh boy any rebuilder in my drawer with AF is now history.......

Many thanks to this forum...don't post often but I do read and learn.....

Bluewillow;

Congrats on the approval and CL, as well as the rate! :smileyhappy:

Thanks for sharing the info!  I don't think the number of posts someone does is as important as the info they share. I think that post helps others looking at NFCU and wondering (or any lender when posted about).

NFCU does seem to be a great place for many to deal with. So far after about 5 months (can't believe it's been that long already) I really like them, they seem to have great CSR's and treat people right all around.  I actually recommended them to a young military vet (he gets DFAS) yesterday who did not know about them. I think he skipped over them because of their name, his response was he wasn't Navy, I told him he didn't have to be, any branch etc qualifies.   He's considering his first house in the near future so I hope the info I gave him helps out somehow.

Re: Woot Woot Another happy happy NFCU member

wowwwww...Congratulations!! I too have been approved as well.  I have been a member of navy federal credit union for about 3 weeks now.  I am still in the process of  transferring everything over to navy.  I too got a pre approval but was kinda hesitant to apply.  Anyway, I bit the bullet on yesterday and called in and applied.  I did not get an instant approval...I got the 3-5 day wait status.  Well,  I came to work this morning and just got a text message from navy saying my application was approved and I should get my card in 7-10 business days.  It did not tell me the limit though.  I also did a balance transfer as well.  I transferred a 940.00 balance from priceline visa and a 1500 balance transfer from old navy visa. I am hoping to get a huge credit limit as yourself as my largest credit limit now is my price line visa with a $3000 limit.  Congrats again bluewillow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I don't post often but I read the forums on a regular basis.

Re: Woot Woot Another happy happy NFCU member

Just got a awesome auto loan with them Tuesday, so I said what the hell today and put a app in got the 3 to 5 day wait message as well. Got my fingers crossed, if I get it, it should be at a pretty good CL with my income. Even If I dont get it I am more than happy with NFCU they have treated me bettter than I probably deserve with my credit profile.
