Worth a recon?

Got an email from amazon as to why my store card app was declined..too many inquiries on TU. There were 12 at time of app, 7 were from the mortgage process we were going thru, and three of the other five were over 1yr old.

They're all explainable, but is an amazon store card worth it?

Starting Score: 492 02/12
Current Score: TU: 668 (FICO), EQ: 668 (FICO). EX: 651(lender pull 9/27/12)
Goal Score: 660

Re: Worth a recon?

It takes you about 5 minutes. At worst, you lose 5 minutes of your lifetime. At best, you get your card application approved right away without much talking.
