My brother was recently approved for a Captial One cc (4-5 mths ago). That is his first cc in an attempt to build up credit. Now, if he adds me as an AUon his C1 cc, will that help HIS credit since I have near-excellent credit and a fairly lengthy credit history +6 yrs?

Hey Elishabelle! Welcome to the Forums!
No, it's the other way around. You will have to ad him to your accounts as an AU for him to gleen any help from being an AU. Be advised - it's a two edged sword. If you carry a large balance in proportion to your credit limit or are late with payments it could possible adversely affect his score too.
Hope this helps!
That would make sense. Thank you.
I'm new to all this so Im still learning the ropes. =]
