Thanks in advance for anyone that can chime in with insight/advice. So, here's my dilemma. i have managed to pay off all of my CCs. a couple months ago. Since then the relief of not owing on any has kept me from spending. Also the utilization thing drives me crazy. I always get hit wit reporting a balance so i avoid having a balance. Problem is i am worried that the CC companies will cld me because i haven't used my cards or carried a balance for almost 3.5 mnths or so. Alsi i wanted to ask for yet more cli within the next 4 mnyhs but idk if they will approve since i never use the cards anymore. I could use a new mattress set i could charge but i saved up the cash and would prob just pay it right off. the ccc aren't getting any interest or action at all. is this considered bad? Thoughts...advice.

Banks get swipe fees.  Use the cards and pay them off before the statement cuts and you'll be fine.  Don't leave the cards on the sideline too much longer or you may see banks close them on you.

It is possible but they could also close it because you are not utilizing your CL. But I would buy lunch or a drink just to show you intend to keep it or use it.

Use your CC to buy the mattress and pay it off before your statement cuts

Thanks everyone for the response. Another thing, how much of my credit line should i use on each? I'm at 5000.x2 520x1 & 300x1. Also does the same go for bml accts cause i haven't used mine in like 5mnths
