PSECU is a great CU to join. I'm with them. Now if they would give me the VISA/PSL combo, I would love it.

Were you denied CS800? I was planning on app'ing for that within the next couple of months

LAst November yes. Reason they gave me was bogus though. I have a paid collection from 2006. It was paid in full in 2007, that wa their reason for denial.

I have about 12 HP on EX now. Back then I had 3. I think I have the cards that I need for now. Time to let them age.

The paid collection is still there so I'm afraid that i pull the trigger and they deny me for the same thing.

If the benefits I receive from joining PSECU do not outweigh the $75 fee, then no.

A monthly 'free' EX FICO for me would definitely justify this one time fee of $75.

Re: Would you pay $75 bucks to join PSECU?

I think you'll just get a monthly EX score, not a report.  That's the way Walmart works with TU, I don't have PSECU.

Since I have Scorewatch (NFCU discount) for EX and Walmart now for TU I don't think I'd pay to get the EX from PSECXU.

Re: Would you pay $75 bucks to join PSECU?

I'm really curious to see how this experiment plays out.  If it works, I'd be willing to pay $75 to gain membership is PSECU as well.  They have terrific services with very low rates for loans and credit cards and generous CLs for their cards.  And the monthly EX FICO is worth the fee in itself.

Current Score: TU: 741 (Discover FICO); EQ: 755 (MyFico) EX: 774 (FAKO)

Bump... Has anyone been able to get through this loop hole and become a member?  Hoping to keep this tread somewhat alive until someone post their success or not.

After falling off the wagon while in the garden... And going 2 for 4 on a drapping spree I've finally received my coveted Discover More. And now I'll limp back to the garden.

Well while I'm sort of hoping this works, my gut feeling is it won't unless you are a resident of the state of PA... or fall under one of their incredibly few exceptions to that fact.

I don't know why they changed their policies on that a year or so ago, but I rather doubt it's changed back again; however, I'd be pretty happy to be proved wrong Smiley Happy.  I'd pay $75 in a heartbeat for a one-time fee for access to my EX mortgage score for the next few years, that's not a decision I even have to think about it makes so much sense for me personally heh.
