Can I ask if you got a home loan for your improvements & then charged? Sounds like a plan! We're getting ready to go for a pool loan. Gets me thinking........

wow and you let all that report in addition to any others
Because OP uses the credit cards correctly. Paying as late as possible without incurring a late payment fee, i.e. paying by due date.
Unless you're going to be applying for new credit anytime soon, utilization is meaningless.
Kudos OP!
Not exactly what I meant but ok your point is noted
I was trying to figure the points earned

I was trying to get them in the order. But yes. This is a complete gut job of my house, the total remodeling estimite came in at almost 200k. I had put any and all materials I could on credit just to have usage, and then I am using the line of credit to pay the cards off once the renovation is done and pay down the line of credit over time. But nothing wrong with a 30 day intrest free loan. As I say I had no idea I had gone that far over limit.
Agreed great way to be rewarded on INT free loan and end up with a vacation
Bravo
If you have made large payments with Chase in the past, it wont be an issue. Chase (JPM) has never rejected an online payment Ive made, but the first large payment was "held" for 3-4 days to confirm funds availability. In any case, should get some nice rewards

Ditto.

Good call...you can never be too safe. Fixed!
@awp317 wrote:Wow I guess unlimited Visa signature spending really means that.
NPSL != unlimited. You can exceed your credit limit but it's not unlimited.
@awp317 wrote:Now maybe they will increase my limits since they obviously let me spend them.
Limits are based on credit and income. Usage can help but it does not make or break a CLI on its own.

That's just an oversimplication in the opposite direction. Utilziation is always a risk factor. Prolonged high utilization can lead to AA regardless if one is apping or not. However, short term high utilization and even allowing a balance to report per the OP isn't a big deal as long as it is quickly paid.
