Wow!

I just got my first free Trans Union FICO from walmart and I couldn't believe what I seen... 756 I'm shocked!

The two reasons I was given for it not being higher were

1) You have a short credit history.

2) You've recently been looking for credit.

I think a 756 is awesome considering my credit journey began less than two years ago with nothing more than a secured card from my local credit union and the extremely valuable knowledge I've gained from this amazing forum board.

Thank you everyone, you've helped me greatly through your experiences and input.

Re: Wow!

I know, I have an aaoa of 7.2 months right now and two new cards that haven't even hit 1 month yet. Trans Union has always been my lowest score for some reason. When I bought my truck my Experian was 716, Equifax was 727 and my Trans Union was 698, my Trans Union only had 2 inquiries on it at that time.

Re: Wow!

Pay in full and on time and you can reach 800 without any car or house loan. My Son, has an 817 with no cc's and no house loan. He has obtained that status with three pif car loans.

Updated scores 3/7/21 TU 849, EQ 829, Ex 818 (all Fico scores) Remember the Three P's: Pay early in Full, Pay on Time, Patience
