Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

Congratulations!

Am I understanding how this works?  Do you have to have actually 3 statements before they consider a CLI or is it just 3 months.  I have had the card for 4 months, but I never got a statement until today because I did not use the card until last weekend.

Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

Congrats!  Was your card almost maxed out, did you have a small balance or was your balance 0?  My 3rd statement cuts on the 15th, so I hope I get some luv (I have 10% utilization on it now).

Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

To answer your question, you must have THREE (3) CONSECUTIVE STATEMENTS WITH BALANCES.  Example:

Charge $100
Statement Cuts
Pay $50
                    Balance $50

Charge $50
Statement Cuts
Pay $75
                   Balance $25

Charge $75
Statement Cuts
Pay $50
                   Balance $50

YOU SHOULD NOW GET THE CLI.

Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

ok, that sounds like, it does not count if I pay in full every month.  If that is the case, that is so wack!

I PIF for the first 3 months and got a CLI to $500.  I did almost max the card out 1 month.

It looks like they just like 3 consecutive months of use.

Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

Sounds like a techie techie formula to me (LOL)
I stopped counting the statements so I put that target red in the drawer.
Nevertheless Congrats on your CLI Smiley Happy

Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

I left small balances and made many purchases with my Target card for 4 or 5 months and was shown no love.

They in turn, were shown my shredder.
Here we go again...

Re: Yeah!! Target shows some luv!!

Yeah, it would have to be a PIF deal for me too.  I have a $200.00 CL and I am not trying to owe Target ANYTHING but $30 to $50 when a statement cuts.  They are 4 miles away from me and there just isnt much for me to buy there since I generally shop at Walmart.   I do love those fruit slushies though and I go see what DVDs are on sale for $5-7.   It is how I made my first purchase with them last weekend, all of $36.00.  I am thinking that they do not want to see that it took me 4 months to use the card, and when I did, I didnt/couldnt pay $36.00.  Who knows how any system assesses this sort of thing.
