I just have to say, I LOVE NAVY FEDERAL!!!!! I have been trying to recover from a bk7 for a little under a year. I wanted to rebuild and heard great things about Navy Federal so I joined. BEST CHOICE EVER!!! Until them I only had crap one $1000, Orchard 300, and Hooters 300. Navy approved me the same day, with explanation, for a Visa 1500.
That was 2 months ago. I then spoke to a WONDERFUL affiliate yesterday who gave me advice and suggested I request increase and close Orchard and Hooters. I asked for $5000 and was given $3500 counter within minutes. My highest limit yet! May not sound like much but for me, it is. They have given me the chance to prove myself again and have looked beyond my past issues! A bank with compassion and empathy...WOW!!!!

Thanks! This has, by far, become my "go to" card as I feel it's better to maintain a great relationship with, and pay interest to, a company that truly cares and takes in the whole picture before judgeing someone! Truly a GREAT financial institution!

Congrats! That's pretty incredible. They gave me $2k Visa in November. I have NO BK, no baddies, and they keep telling me to wait 6 mos to ask for CLI. It seems like they are really inconsistent with their CLs.
