Same here...except mine was in 1991, I think...
2007 Jcrew card. Probably a pair of khakis.
First app was an in store Sears card which I promptly purchased a pair of pants and hat to match!
Mines was fairly recent..
In 2010 an amazon credit card with a $600 cl.. Brought myself an iPad 2 and a smart over..
May 2006. I had to buy a car battery because my battery died on me!
My first card was Golden State Sanwa Bank Mastercard in 1982 and the CL was $500. They charged me 10 cents/transaction with no AF. My first retail card was J.W. Robinsons.
Ron.
August 2009, Citi Forward card. I think I bought pizza from a pizza place down the street from my house. Maybe not. Not sure.
My first card was my BOA Alaska Airlines credit card. I opened it in August 2002 with my mom, I was a month shy of 19. I have no idea what my first purchase on that card was.
I can tell you what my first purchase was on some of my recent cards though:
- oil change (Orchard card)
- Starbucks latte (Capital One)
- pet food (Amex Zync)
- lunch at PF Changs with friends (Chase Freedom)
