If you remember way back to when you got your shiny new CC, what was your first charge?  It was Aug of 99, I was 17.  Mom cosigned on a Cap1 card with a $300 limit.  The purchase . . . couple of pairs of jeans.   Funny how I remember that like it happened yesterday Smiley Happy

I forget!

Re: You Never Forget Your First Time....

My first card was Golden State Sanwa Bank Mastercard in 1982 and the CL was $500.  They charged me 10 cents/transaction with no AF. My first retail card was J.W. Robinsons.

Re: You Never Forget Your First Time....

My first card was my BOA Alaska Airlines credit card. I opened it in August 2002 with my mom, I was a month shy of 19. I have no idea what my first purchase on that card was.

I can tell you what my first purchase was on some of my recent cards though:

- oil change (Orchard card)

- Starbucks latte (Capital One)

- pet food (Amex Zync)

- lunch at PF Changs with friends (Chase Freedom)

Current Cards: Banana Republic Visa ($5,300), Chase Freedom ($2,000), Discover It ($11,500), Amex Costco True Earnings ($5,000), Chase Slate ($2,500)
