Also try Barclays. I agree with improvingcredit in Cap 1 Newcomers, WalMart - Discover not so sure about...are you a student?
I thought about Barclays but they are real sticklers for 1 year of history too. After that... they are great for growing with you. It's not unheard of though to get approved.

Go to the discover website and check to see if you are pre qualified for the discover it card. I have only had two secured cards for 2 months and got approved for $750cl. If that doesn't work try the capital one newcomers card. Neither of those cards have fees.
Yep... Discover likes the new files. I've recommended it several times an not once denied. All had 6 months to 1 year history with limited credit. I like them for starters
@bobbyburns34 wrote:Yes, ive paid every single one in full way before the actual due date.
the last 2 months they were $30 payments
before, just a few dollars to get activity on the card
@Anonymous more thing @bobbyburns34
I actually revise my original recommendation- app the Cash Rewards card for Average Credit instead of the New Comers. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

My bad, forgot about Barclays and their 1 yr luv affair.
haha.. barcalys is a weird nut. They will approve on recon really marginal files but won't consider someone with good but limited credit.
Ok can i have links to these cards? LOL
i appreciate the help guys.
should i do the new comers card and discover right now?

I'd do in this order:
Discover It
Cap One Cash Rewards for Average Credit
Walmart
That's just the way I'd do it
ok ill try it out now!
