For 2013 I want my FICO to be all above 760 by the end of the year, and my utilization to be kept at <5% at all times. I’m planning another round of app spree of 2-3 more cards in April. But before that I’m going to request a CLI for my BCE. Its been way past my 61 days but AMEX hasnt softed me yet. I probably won’t request the full 3x as I’d be happy to get anything over $10,000, preferably $11,000. After the new limit has reported, I will app. I’ll be gunning for Chase Priority Club mainly for the points and the free night annually. Also I’m looking to app for Citi Dividend which ultimately I want the World Elite MasterCard version. This card would diversify my card portfolio with my banks and also I just really want the benefits of World Elite MasterCard. I have not been able to find out if I can directly apply for the World Elite version. If I do get this card, I’ll be changing my CSP from World MasterCard to a Visa Signature. I haven’t decided on my 3rd card yet but it’ll be either be an AMEX for back dating purposes or whatever card that has an outrageous reward or signup bonus.
My goals for the year were to get the Platinum Delta AMEX, and also get the CSP. I knew I had a good chace to get the AMEXD but thought it would be a long shot to get the CSP becasue of a previous charge off with Chase and quite a few new accounts. Applied for both this month and get accepted for both, I guess I need some new goals now!!!!!
My goal this year is to at least break the 700 mark on my scores all across the board, join the Discover family and to increase my limits substantially to go into 2014. I am on my way..... Went on a few major app sprees from August 2012 to January 2013 and I am determined to stay in the garden until my birthday in December for the Discover. So far this forum has helped me start up my credit and maintain my scores and grow my limits! I love this place!
for the next 9 months I'll be trying to CLI CLI CLI!!!! Also hoping to add a nice limit CC to the mix and call it a day. In september I hope to buy my first home, and not too long after that I am debating around christmas buying a new car
I would like to buy 3-5 small houses, join the amex revolver and discover families, and while I'm at it, perhaps a freedom or saphire. Lofty, I know, but 2013 lasts a long time.
After CLI on JP Morgan Select Visa in April to $10K, it's garden, garden...GARDEN!
I've been very lucky already this year, with CLI and 2 new cards within the first few weeks of this new year. I think my signature speaks for itself, and more importantly, speaks volumns about the GREAT information that one can glean from this site to improve one's situation. I'm extremely grateful for the wisdom that can found on a site such as this and the camaraderie from it's participants !

Let's hear them! Do you want to reach a certain credit score? Reach a certain credit limit? Acquire one or a host of cards? Or is it your goal to faithfully garden all year to get that dream home?
Whatever your credit goal for 2013 is, let us know. Hopefully we can help each other achieve our goals along the way!
My goal is to get rid of most of my inquiries and let things just age. I opened 7 new credit card accounts and 4 new student loans in 2012 so I am sure it is hurting my score big time.
My goals are relatively simple for this year. I have already apped for pretty much all of the cards I need or want (might close my PRG when the annual fee time comes.) But the only cards I really want are the Chase Freedom and Amex BCE, and am planning to apply for it either on June 3rd or 4th. And hopefully a small CL (300 on BOFA to 1,000, 500 each on Discover and Citi to 2,000.) Other then that, I plan to garden until my income gets bigger, or I find another card I can acquire (that isn't a visa signature, my income probably won't let me qualify for a Visa Signature right now.) That's it for this year.
