Re: Your Goals for 2013!

There are really no compelling cards I want in 2013, so I'm going to focus on the maximum FICO scores possible.  I'm shooting for an 819 with EQ (Beacon 5.0), an 844 with EX (Fair Isaac V2), an 850 (TU08), and 843 (TU98). Smiley Happy

EQ Fico 8 - 850
TU Fico 8 - 850
EX Fico 8 - 850

Re: Your Goals for 2013!

My main goal is to get my scores up to 750+. That was my goal last year, but I didn't hit it. I'm also planning on getting the BCE, and to let the majority of my INQs drop (almost all are from 2011).

ETA: I'd also like to get all my main bank cards to 10K CL or above!

Starting Score (07/2011): EQ 706 TU 709
Current Score (6/2013): EQ 740 TU 732 EX 740
Goal Score: 750+ on all 3

Re: Your Goals for 2013!

My goal is to have no reminders of ID theft/fraud, and to finally have the last three fraud accounts destroyed.  Then will likely not possible, would love to have my FICO over 800.  Being at 641 right now that may be difficult.  I only have one one active account on my CRA's a BOA Sig CC  25000/ 100 balance.  Never get one, they don't report your credit limit and wont, so can tend to hurt ones score.

Being a rather easy going guy, I have to admit, with two of the remaining accounts, I hope to learn enough on here to make the OC and two of the CRA folks feel some real stress, maybe time to victimize them a little.  I wont, but what a great fantasy.  But I sure as hell wont let them victimize me anymore.  Four years of this is enough.

Starting Score: 641
Current Score: 641
Goal Score: 800

Re: Your Goals for 2013!

1. Pay down what balances I have.

2. Get credit limit increases on Citi, Chase and Discover.

3. Break the 700 mark for my scores.

4. Allow my cards to age. Most of them are 1-2 years old or less so I don't need any new credit really.

I'm pretty sure that I'll achieve #3 by doing #1 though.

Starting Score: 686 TU / 683 EQ 01/17/2013
Current Score: 703 TU / 691 EQ 10/04/2013 / 688 EX 11/12/2013
Goal Score: 700 across all three

Re: Your Goals for 2013!

I somehow managed to score my first goal card for 2013 (Amex BCE) already, so now my goal is to garden until April.  In April I plan to ask for a CLI on my Discover, and in July I plan to ask for CLIs on my Amazon Rewards and BCE.

I know I want Chase's Priority Club or Hyatt card at some point, but whogavemecredit has no info on profiles of those getting approved! Smiley Sad So since I don't have enough info on it, I'm not yet setting it as a 2013 goal.

TU: 793 (6/13/17) | EQ: 787 (7/17/17) | EX: 788 (6/15/18)

Cap1 Quicksilver, $4,750 (4/2012); Discover IT, $40,000 (10/2012); Chase Amazon Rewards, $14,600 (10/2012); AMEX Hilton HHonors, $15,000 (11/2012); AMEX Blue Cash Everyday, $15,000 (01/2013); Barclaycard Arrival+, $10,000 (07/2013); Citi Home Depot $8,000 (06/2018)
