I tried for a Freedom but was shot down...wouldn't have minded having another 5% CB card to rotate.

Mine is the same except my cell phones along with other utilities go on my Barclays Reward card - 2% cash back.

AMEX Green: everyday spend (1x point)
AMEX Delta: Car Payment + Travel (2x miles for travel)
Citi AA WMC: Fitness membership auto pay (1x mile) + Travel (2x miles)
BOA Cash Rewards: Gas (3% Cash Back) + Groceries (2% Cash Back)
Cap1 QS: Misc. Spend (1.5% Cash Back)
Cap1 Sony: Movies (5x Sony points) + bubble gum

Santander (my auto lien holder) accepts CCs, with $10.95 additional fee.
You can. I do, however they only take VISA/Mastercard. YMMV.

How? My auto loans are with Ally Bank and the only payment option I see is through a checking or savings account...
