Your first " you have enough credit denial"

Well the " you have arrived " thread  got me thinking about this topic.  I guess I will start us out.

Mine was Nasa CU. I was a bit surpised by this one a few months ago . If anything, I was expecting to be denined due to inquiries, or new accounts,  but to much credit? I guess in a way it a good denial Smiley Tongue .

Re: Your first " you have enough credit denial"

Got one of those "already have enough credit" denials for an Amex CLI a couple days ago.  I suppose I kinda do...

between my cards and wife's cards i am an AU on, I'm currently at 165% of annual income.

Guess I'll need to actually increase my income to start getting mega lines (current high limits are $7700 on my citi forward, $8600 on her banana republic visa).
