I use most of my cards but my favorite 2 are CSP and freedom. CSP for dining and freedom right now for groceries.
1- Hiway Fed C/U visa- 1% cash back and it's tied directly into my checking and savings accounts. Low APR and since it's a relatively small local credit union the customer service is great.
2- Discover- decent cash back and I've had it a long time. I've always had good luck with their customer service too.
I have specific uses for every one of my cards, but my two primary cards are:
1. CSP. Best all-rounder. We eat out a lot, so 2x (and 3x one Friday per month) applies to a large percentage of spend. The Chase shopping portal nets 4x on non-chain hotels through Hotels.com (because I use my Marriott card for Marriott spend), and 3x can be had on other travel through the portal. Transfer partners align with my usual travel habits, e.g., Southwest, Marriott. Rental cars have primary coverage, so while I my Amex Platinum gives me discount code with Hertz, I actually pay with my CSP and earn 2x points.
2. Amex BCP for groceries at 6x, gas at 3x, decent cash back deals (Fresh Market, BP, Staples, to name a few).
CSP and Arrival+.
The two main cards that I use in my lineup:
1. Costco TE: I do a lot of dining (2%) and a fair amount of gas (3%) spend
2. Cap One QS1: 1.5% for my general spend
Maybe once I move to a new place and cook more, BCE could be up there. Sony Card is my backup dining card.
Sallie Mae
Venture
My 2 main cards are Sallie Mae (gas/groceries) and Quicksilver (general spend).
1 CSP - I have a CSP/Freedom hybrid so I'm getting the Q1 5% categories; I'm using it for groceries and dining
2 AMEX PRG - just for gas
Just racking up UR/MR points with this combo as I've already fulfilled my $10k spend on the Ritz to keep my gold status for next year
I'll probably be swapping out at the end of the month for the Biz Plat/Prestige combo to meet min spend req's once I've applied
