So I have had my Zync with the $500 limit and autopay for 13 months now and I was curious is anyone else has had any experience with these. I was hoping my limit would fall off by now but I am still waiting. Any insight?

Ex is not perfect but no collections or derogs for 2+ years. I have paid off 3 car loans in that time, got the zync, a navy fed visa with a 9k limit, and a military star card with 2.5k limit. Current score is 696 according to an Amex Green denial.

What were the reasons for denial on the Green app?

How does your EX file look??

When you get it removed, please post, because I'm sure you will be the first.

Re: Zync autopay...

I have the same terms and I'm at 13 months going on 14. I have called them a few times about having the limit removed and have always been given the same crap. They periodically check your CRs and will determine when they will remove it.

Sorry. It sucks, but hey at least you're in right?!

I think I'm going to cancel it if the limit is not removed after 24 months or increased.

Re: Zync autopay...

Yeah I guess you could always cancel and then re~apply.   If they want to stick you with a hard limit again you can decline......

According to them:

Your application was processed using our American Express Cardmember Risk Score which evaluates existing cardmembers.  The reasons you did not score well were:

Your FICO? score (See below)

Your credit report indicates that you have one or more seriously delinquent or collections accounts and/or derogatory public records on file.

The number of creditors who have reviewed your credit report.

Fico score was 696 according to them. There are no collections at all and no delinquencies for the past 2+ years and in the past year I shopped for a home loan and a car loan and that was it. No big deal, just figure it was worth a try.

Re: Zync autopay...

It was my understanding that with AMEX, they don't recon but instead just resubmit your application.

Correct. They only do recon if your report contains inaccurate information.
