a cap1 semi-prime preapproval

i got a funny pre-approval for a cap1 platinum today that seems to combine the features of 3 different standard cards on their website-No annual fee(matches their prime cards), 0% APR until August '13(matches the cap1 classic platinum with $19 AF) and 22.9% ongoing APR(only the secured has this APR).

Of course it also says they may increase my credit line after 5 months, so i guess this is one of their credit-steps. Basically one of their subprime cards, without an AF. Maybe that means in a year or so it could be PC into the no fee CashRewards. Anyways since im looking at AMEX and then US Bank when the vast majority of my inqs age off in spring no new accounts. Shredder Food!

Re: a cap1 semi-prime preapproval

I think this is the letter I got, and they started me out with a $3,000 limit, and PC'd me to cash rewards after 2 weeks.
