about cancelling old cards..

Hey forum folk...

Is there a base number of credit cards that starts working against your score once you reach? And if so, is it good to cancel a semi-older card with a low CL to lower the number of overall cards?

Number of cards really doesn't matter for scoring purposes.  It's more a matter of what you can responsibly manage.  You can refer to prior "number of cards" threads as well.
