this is my only card left that has an AF. Its funny how the tides turn this was my fav card 6 months ago but now i am almost never gonna use it again if i can get approved for the sams mastercard in june
I don't mean to do the proverbial "kick a horse when they're down" so to speak, but if you're applying for the Sam's Mastercard, you might want to be prepared that they may or may not give you the store card. (Hopefully, for your sake that doesn't happen as I know that would make you very upset.)
Best of luck and patience on the BoA front.
Thank you. I was thinking the same thing about the sams mastercard. Do you know for a fact they will still be offering both cards?

+1
I hope it doesn't take two years for you, OP. But freaking out before a year is up is a little over the top. Relax and have a glass of your favorite beverage. If you don't graduate after 12 months, then make sure everything looks good and call to ask for that "cap & gown" (as somebody else put it here recently).
+2. Yup, you're definitely over-reacting. Just be patient and see what happens.
So I spoke to one of the credit people at boa last night just to Confirm it is a hp at graduation he said yes. So I told him isn't that why boa does soft pulls of my credit every month. He's like no we only do soft pulls if your a risk to us which you are not because u pay everything on time. I go Ok but I have my credit report right in front of me and I see that you have been soft pulling me for the past couple of months he was basically speechless. Gotta love boa

Yes. As is frequently posted here it's a marathon not a sprint. Some others improve faster and some others improve slower. You can't gauge your progress by reading the posts of others. Credit and situations differ from person to person. This all takes time to mentally prepare yourself to be in this for the long haul. Even after it graduates to unsecured you still have a long journey ahead.

Exactly. This site can be a double-edged sword. It has all the info to help people get on the right track to getting great credit. But all the posts about success and early PCs can make people keep apping and getting denied and wondering why they weren't approved and such.
