amex financial review even before i receive my approved credit cards!

I got a call this morning, and amex called for financial review even before i receive my approved credit cards!

I cannot believed it. I just got approved for 3 amex credit card this month, and they are still on the way of shipping!

Is there anybody know the reason? They ask me to fax my 3 month bankstatement and 3 work pay stub.

Is that a big issue? I did put the correct income when i apply for the credit cards!

I got my first credit card from chase 6 years ago, and got my ssn july, and they just link my credit histroy.

How you guys suggest to handle this FR? What is the possiable final decision?

It's probably because you applied for 3 credit cards in a month. Your internal score probably tanked and your accounts were flagged. 

It looks like they are only doing a mini FR. They are only asking for pay stubs, and not the 4506T form. 

If you did not lie, as you stated, send in what they're asking for. If all is okay, your accounts should remain open.

Before i apply for the 3 credit cards, and i check my credit score. It looks like a 6 years credt report. 753.....so i cannot believe they open the 3 account for me, and while they shipping. FR me!

I think the problem is 3 Amex cards at once.   If you want to get those cards you need to send that in or they will be cancled.

Your scores do not matter. You were flagged because it appears that you're in dire need for credit. 3 Amex accounts in one month is pushing it a bit. 

Just comply with what they want. Ultimately it is up to you. Otherwise, they will likely close your accounts.

Hey - I'm scared myself. I applied for Hilton and SPG last week, approved for Hilton, got "pending" on SPG (still pending), then for whatever silly reason applied - but got APPROVED! - for business Platinum Amex. 

I received my Hilton card today and have activated it and used it a couple times, but I am afraid of getting a similar call! 

I'll be happy when the Platinum is in my hand, activated....

This does not sound like an FR, they are just asking you to prove your stated income, most likely becuase you applied for 3 cards at once.

If you send them what they are asking for and you didnt lie on the numbers you should be fine.

Ohh.... I should say that my Hilton came with paperwork saying my Ex Fico score is 677 but said potential negatives are "too many inquiries" (I have 20 now on Experian) (there were 19 when I got the Platinum approval)...

Pleeeeease let the Amex gods shine upon me...... lol
