Re: amex payments?

My statement end date is the 23rd; if I don't have a store zero reporting then the reports reflect a balance. I then have until the 8th to pay in full.

Re: amex payments?

ok but how come amex gives us such sort amount of time to pay. i called and set everything up CSR said nothing will happen. because as long as the payment is made before the next closing date its fine.

If that's what the AMEX reps are telling you then I would go with that. Just don't make it a habit of going beyond the "Please Pay By" date.

Re: amex payments?

My understanding is that you pay 30 days after your last statement. For example, in my case my statement cuts on the 3rd of the month .. I have 15 days to pay in full .. but the 18th marks 30 days since my last payment!
