As stated on numerous posts of mine the past year has been a rebuilding period for me been very successful thanks to this forum. I got several cards mainly store cards that I have never used and probably won't. They helped my utilization in the beginning and my score. I have gotten denials for some good cards because of " too many new accounts".
My question is if I close these accounts will lenders still see them as new accounts when reviewing my application.....or has the damage already been done and I just need to let the cards age for a while. Most lenders view accounts less than 2 years old as "new" I have been told.
