where area you getting the 615 score? 

Unfortunately only store cards or some gas stations cards will take on a person with a low limit. with a 615 ime. but you can try whogavemecredit to see if maybe someone else had better luck.

I would agree with this. Even if you can start with $500 ($1000 is  better)secure credit card , it will help you a lot once it gets unsecured in the future!

no i have a positive closed account  from carecredit    1000 limit    2 baddies

your best bet is to start off with a couple secured cards and take care of those 2 baddies in the mean time.  in a year from now you will be in a much better situation

Just make sure you choose one that you think might give you a line of credit like stated about check out whogavemecredit web because after you apply your points will go down a few points at first. Good luck things will get better just follow these guys on this forum and you can't go wrong
