apps;

AMEX BCE approved --3700

Citi AA Plat Visa Signature approved --11500

Discover IT approved --3500

USAA Amex approved --6000

cli requests

JCP cli approved --250 to 1750

USAA MC cli approved --2000 to 3500

USAA Visa cli approved --2000 to 3500

Capital One Sony Visa cli approved --500 to 5000

Can these lenders not see these recent inquiries or do they just not care?  I"m confused because the numer of inquiries is supposed to be such a big deal in lenders approving new credit, then why do so many people get approved for 5-10 cards in a day?  Can they not see the new INQ's until the following day/week/month?

Chase Sapphire Preferred $17,800; Discover IT $15,000; PenFed Plat Rewards Signature $14,000; AMEX BCE $11,800; AMEX SPG $8,100; Citi Simplicity $10,000; Chase United MileagePlus Explorer $5,000; Chase Ink Classic $3,000; GE Lumber Liquidators $7000; GE Care Credit $2000

Re: app spree

Inq's are instant. What they can't see are the new accounts. It depends on the lender and your credit profile if the number of inq's are excessive. After 6-7 inq's on someone with a long AAOA, that number probably won't hurt their score and a lender will not be as concerned. Same scenario with a short history, credit score is usually affected greater and the lender doesn't see an established credit history. Thus, they may be more concerned that a lot of new debt cannot be handled.

There are so many variables involved that it's pretty much a case-by-case basis. I applied for 9 CC's in one day & got approved for them all, I had to recon a few of them so I know the analyst's saw all my HP's but they didn't seem to care.
