Thanks everyone! Dont worry, I didnt get the cards for the credit so to speak. I just decided I should actually get cash back when i spend money and build my overall credit. I plan to PIF every month and keep my reported balance between 1-9% usage. Never carry any balances or anything like that.
And I have since decided to round out the two cards to maximize rewards with one last application: Discover It.
I went ahead and applied through amazon to get the $75 gift card and recieved the 5-7 day message. Called the number provided and after some verification i was Approved!!! With a $4500 credit limit!!!
So 3/3 on applications and having them all together will help with clearing them out at the same time.
This was my last card app, it was just too tempting with how well it fit in to what I use and the cards I already have.
So a total credit line of $20,500!!! Very very happy.
