just got an email from chase that i have been approved for Chase freedom for 5K limit! my score is 660, but i have a car loan with chase for 1.5 years now.

I always wanted this card so i can combine it with discover for the 5% $$ bonus!

What factors go into what limit you are given? I applied for a Freedom card and was approved but only for $4,000. My FICO scores are TU - 744 and EQ - 736. I have one card above 50% of the limit and over all I'm at 30%.

atee, what's your sign up bonus? If you got the $200, send them a secure message asking them to bump it to $300.
