Re: approved with paid state tax lien??????

Not a state lien but with a paid federal lien my wife was approved for a Citi card. She never applied for a Discover so I don't know about that.

As matter  of fact, she was approved for every card she applied for, Citi, Chase, Amex, PenFed, Lowes, Care Credit.

When I applied for a Citi card, at the time I had a Unpaid federal lien and I was instantly approved with a very generous starting limit. $8.7K>$10K>$12K. Both CLI requests were SP's.

Amex BCE $11.1 / Citi Diamond Preferred WMC $12K / Citi Double Cash WMC $3.8K / Comenity Total Rewards Visa $2.5K / Citi Home Depot $5K / AU- Amex BCP $12K / Chase Freedom Visa $11014.00 / PenFed Platinum Rewards Visa Signature $6K / GE Lowes $10K

I was approved for a Citi secured card with a paid IRS tax lien. They also unsecured it while it was still on  my reports.

I have reestablished credit over the last couple years
so my moniker is, well, rather out of date.

WM Discover $1800, WF Plat 12k, Chase Freedom Siggy18k, Amex Plat (60k H/B), Citi AA EWMC 25k

I thought paid tax liens or liens that you have a payment arrangement for could be removed from your report. Or is that just federal?

Federal tax liens can be

State tax liens in some states can be a nightmare to remove

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

A ton of people are getting large tax refunds this year. If you know just how much you are getting this year, you can get a payday loan to help pay for anything you want right now. If you were thinking about doing a project or just needed to buy brand new furniture, you can get it now and pay the loan back when your return arrives. A  payday loan is a perfect way to pay your bills and for any other emergency situation provided they are approved easily.

No advertising pls

Thanks MJ
