Hello
Has anyone been approved for a citi card or discover card with a paid state tax lien on your report??? Please let me know. !
I got a Discover with a 4 year old paid state tax lien.
Not a state lien but with a paid federal lien my wife was approved for a Citi card. She never applied for a Discover so I don't know about that.
As matter of fact, she was approved for every card she applied for, Citi, Chase, Amex, PenFed, Lowes, Care Credit.
When I applied for a Citi card, at the time I had a Unpaid federal lien and I was instantly approved with a very generous starting limit. $8.7K>$10K>$12K. Both CLI requests were SP's.

I thought paid tax liens or liens that you have a payment arrangement for could be removed from your report. Or is that just federal?
Federal tax liens can be
State tax liens in some states can be a nightmare to remove

If you were thinking about doing a project or just needed to buy brand new furniture, you can get it now and pay the loan back when your return arrives. A payday loan is a perfect way to pay your bills and for any other emergency situation provided they are approved easily.
