if you request a CLI online or by phone, 100% hard pull. There is a slim chance of an auto cLI which would be a sp.

I asked for a CLI from 3k to 10k and it was a 7-10 message then saw the HP and a day later they approved the limit increase, but im sure it would be an HP.

Yes there will be a HP. The online form clearly states that a Credit Bureau Report will be obtained if you submit the app ...

It's like Home Depot, go online and cli to $25k+ and it's hp to TU and you will get 7-10 and then about an hour or so later if during biz hours you can log back in and see the new countered or full asked cl.

Re: bestbuy credit limit increase.....soft or hard pull?

Yeah I'd be happy with the $2k limit man... I had a TU of 730 when I called a couple months ago to ask them to raise my limit on my BBRZ MC from the paltry $300 to something a little less idiotic, and got turned down.  Sheesh!  Then I found out they were about to charge me a $59 annual fee.  Deep-Six'ed that piece of plastic and never looked back.

Yea unfortuantly the bestbuy mastercard is not that good compared to the bestbuy store card.

Re: bestbuy credit limit increase.....soft or hard pull?

That is not true anymore and it depends if you have good credit and have a large CL or if you are given the mc because you have bad credit and small CL with AF
