You have to put the billing zip code in at gas pumps though. You have no idea how many times I've been denied at the pump because I put my school adress zip code in and not my home address zip code which is what my billing address is. Then I have to go inside and talk to the attendant because the pump yells at me.
Yeah, I move around every couple of years and sometimes forget to update zip codes. Though the OP could tell the person the zip code attached to the card.
even though im away for the summer (may to september) i still use all the same zipcode of my home adress as all mail and etc is still sent there.
so yes my zip code is the same as hers for everything and vice versa.

There is a convenience store right next door to my old apartment, and I'd been in there millions of times to buy stuff, and I always used my card, and the last time I was in there he asked to see my ID for my credit card, which was odd since he'd never asked to see my ID ever before, for the CC or for the things I was buying that may have an age requirement, lol. He asked me to put in PIN, I said it was a credit card, and he goes "Well then I need to see your ID" lol
well she signed my chase card and gave it to the clerk. waited for him to ask, and he just put it through.
she said she was very distraught on the fact clearly she is not a man and he did not think twice about putting it through. (chase freedom card not the walmart one)
