Do you have any credit cards with at least (or close to) a $5,000 CL. Also how old is your credit file or Average Age of Acounts?
I hear Capital One uses that as a minimum CL on its Prime Cards and likes to see a few years of credit.

Yikes, I'm sorry. The Venture is such a decent card too. What's too bad is I'm sure they HPed all 3 of your CRs. I'd wait until you get the letter to see what their reasoning is (although sometimes the "reasons" don't make sense).
I've gotten two "pre-approved" offers from them recently for the Venture card but just not interested in a card that has 3 HPs. The last offer had 10k bonus points and 12 months 0% financing which is what they have on their website. Not a big fan of Cap 1 (we have their Spark Travel card at work).
That's unfortunate, but as we all know, pre-approvals are not guarantees.
