cap one secured credit limit

So after 8 years of financial issues I srtated slowly with cap one secured mc that I opened in jan 2013. I now have 3 other Cap 1 cards includinf qs visa and mc and a venture rewards visa. When I contact customer service what do I need to explain to them what I want to do exaclty. Without dinging my credit I would like to close the secured card or trasnfer it to another one of my cap 1 cards.

You can't tranfer limits on a secured card and in general, CAP 1 does NOT do the tranferring of limits thing.  So if I were in your shoes, I'd close it outright.

It won't ding your credit if you close it. It will stay on your credit report as a positive tradeline for up to ten years. Only then, it will affect your average age of accounts, but that's about it really. So go ahead and get your money back. It has served it's purpose.
