I used my cap 1 in feb but not knowing better I PIF on my due date but I guess it was too late and the statement balance was reported to the CRA's for march. I used the card in March and this time I PIF way before due date to make sure reported balance for April will be 0. Well Cap1 have not reported yet and still showing March balance. How much longer after my due date (4th) and closing statement date (7th) will take for cap 1 report balance for april.
I want to apply for Amex Everyday and Barclay Arrival world MC and want to show very minimal util, right now my overall util is 9% but it is spread in 3 cards, 2 cards with $700 each as I am taking advantage of the best buy and rooms to go 0% and the cap1 showing $2750 that should show once it reports in april a $0 balance but it has not reported yet.
Thoughts?
Has the statement closed yet?

If it hasn't reported by tomorrow call and ask them to report ....sometimes the CB's are slow to update
Good luck
Can that be done? Which number should I call? I called yesterday and the rep told me that it could take from 30 to 60 days.

Sending you a PM shortly
Have you request to change the due date online recently? It happened to be before and it basically skipped a month when i did it.
thats funny you mentioned bc i considereable reduced the balance on one of my cap1 card and the statement always cut and the balance has not been updated on any of my reports. hmmmm
Ok, I called the EO number yesterday and today the EO rep told me that they had sent the information to the CRA's for the month of April already but they can't tell why is taking so long for the CRA to update my Credit Profile. She also said that they can do another update tomorrow and that if I wanted to reflect $0 to PIF the little balance I had ($300 from an airline ticket I bought yesterday) and once the payment is reflected they will report to the CRA. I went ahead and PIF so hopefully they successfully report to the CRA's and the CRA's update finally.
