the only new thing here is a place to check for upgrades or other rewards options it's currently down I
I play the credit game but I do feel a tad bit of guilt milking or them going on two years not making them on red cent. since jan 08 by making fee free BT and PIF after the next statement comes,
I look at the credit card company freebies the same way I look at casino comps...these guys both make calculated business decisions when they offer you something for nothing. It's never for nothing, but it might not cost YOU anything. Somebody, somewhere, is paying for it.
A lot of those BTs get carried at interest. Yours isn't one of them, but the revenue they didn't get from you is coming from the guy who thought he'd pay it off by a certain time, but couldn't. The credit card company probably knows to 7 decimal points what percentage of people they'll hook for the interest, just like the casino knows that a certain percentage of people ultimately end up losing thousands of dollars to the casino after getting the free room and meals.
Don't feel one bit guilty. They certainly don't.
