I have just heard that Casey's is switching from Barclay's to UMB at the end of this month.
I suppose that will mean yet ANOTHER new CC account without a new CC, hence hitting my AAofA again.
And they switched it from MC to Visa. So now I have no MC
Ouch. Well, look at it this way, at least your credit's getting younger.
What's UMB?

A midwestern bank of some description

Well, Forbes seems to like them. Second-best bank in the nation, after Bank of Hawaii.
Maybe they will be willing to report the account with the original opening date. If they're so good, maybe they understand how personal credit works.
Does UMB pull EQ?

I have no idea. The transfer occurs Sunday, so I will be checking my CRs to see if anything happens. Don't know if they will pull an inq or what.
But I have to change some bills paid automatically - it is all a pain.
I dont know about Barclay's but I have UMB card and they are very good and friendly.
Once I get the first bill, pay it off, set up a new electronic payment and get the second bill to report zero on my CRs, I will call them and find out
I don't know about anyone else but I HATE the new UMB website for the new casey's cc. It's SOOO outdated. I liked the old website 110% better. They get a F on website from me. My sister had a problem and had to call customer service she complained about the website and the guy said they have gotten a lot of complaints about it and that the site is out dated and they will be getting an updte but no idea when but for now we are stuck with this one. I think I will be looking for a new card to make my primary card.
