Re: cash+?

See if they can use that hard pull to get you another product. That way it isn't a wasted INQ. Explain that you would like to become a customer and want them to give you a shot with some kind of product. Then in 6 months or so apply for a CLI and PC.

US bank likes to see FICO's around 720 and DTI under 30%. I am an odd exception not an example of approval.

Too many INQs & low AAoA so I'm off to tend the Garden.     Age:23

Re: cash+?

I don't think Amex would have approved you either with your util ratio being this high. I would recommend you try to do what dust link recommended.

Re: cash+?

Definitely try and see if they will work with you on another cc - maybe explain why your util is so high. 😬

Re: cash+?

If you have a valid reason for having so much debt on CCs, you can try explaining it. For example maybe you have 0% promo right now and you have the cash sitting around in your bank account, and you didn't pay it off only because its 0%.... Sometimes that reason flies, though they might ask u for docs afterwards

So your debt to income is too high?

Like you have a large mortgage, auto loan, ect and it equals a DTI that US Bank is not okay with. Or you have high utilization?
