@enharu wrote:for me i just talked to the people at the branch whom I applied with.
they were able to tell me the conditional limit it was showing on the screen while the app was pending. I was approved 1 day later.
Same thing for my girlfriend.
You can try calling the branch you applied with.
Or you can try calling
US Bank: 800-947-1444, 800-685-7680 (Underwriting)
I apped over the phone and they said i need to wait 24 hours
I really wouldn't bother with the "underwriters" on the telephone. They seem competely unable to do anything to the application once it is submitted. For me, it was pending forever and they just kept saying to ring back later. Their number is 18009471444 or 18006857680. Don't ring when it's close to closing time. I did and the woman claimed she couldn't find it (most likely didn't want to be bothered since they were closing in five minutes) and even told me to apply again. I'm glad I didn't listen and end up with to inquiries.
There currently are no 0% offers on a cash plus, only the Travel FlexPerks card.
If you apped over the phone it is not really very easy to pull the app within the branch (different systems and cost centers) so the only way to really get results is to call 1800, unless you get lucky and find someone in a branch that really knows what they're doing.
Don't let them convince you to submit a second app for the same card, it will cause a conflict and add about another two days to the time it takes to get an answer. Generally if it is a week business day we can get an answer either instantly, in 24 hours, or 48 hours.
The "conditional limit" is a computer generated figure based off income and DTI, it doesn't factor much else into it so it shouldn't be deemed accurate.
