If i have 2 chase cards and i want to do a cli on both in the same day, does that count for only 1 inquiry? thanks

I would suspect it would involve two pulls, but I'm not sure about that.As far as whether it counts for one inquiry, as far as FICO is concerned the answer is yes. FICO would deduplicate them even if they pulled twice, but they would still show as two inquiries on your report.
