whats the diffrence one better then the other?

well that clears it up mods please close thread...lol.... like i did not know that. i was wondering what one would be better like if i have the BoA 123 visa card when  i get freedom should i opt for mastercard so when i get discover ill have every single card out there. lol

Well,  you did ask if one is better than the other. And its really not. The only difference is one is on the MC network, and the other is on the Visa network. Its up to you if you want to have one card as a Visa, one as a MC, and one as a Discover, etc.

Wishing I had apped for Freedom MC instead of Visa because I don't have any MCs.

You can send them a message or telephone them and ask it to be switched over to a Mastercard. The account number obviously changes but everything else stays the same. On your credit report the Mastercard number will replace the Visa number, so it will not be another tradeline.

depending on your credit worthiness you may qualify for visa signature or mc world/ worl elite.   i think visa sig is easier to qualify.  so that may be a factor in which you want to apply for

I don't believe they're accepting any applications for Freedom MC's at this time. You can ask for a MC after 1 year.

There are Visa Signature and MC World tiers, but no World Elite. Signature and World are pretty similar - you can Google it to find out the nuanced differences.
