$400? I guess it's still a foot in the door with Chase.
Is Chase stingy with CLI's?
@Anonymous wrote:My DW has perfect credit history, she has a citi forward $4000 amex blue $2000 AAOA 5.6 years thanks to some accounts reporting as AU.
She applied for chase slate and amex delta both instant approvals.
amex dont know the CL yet
chase slate $400 REALLY chase. thinking of cancelling the card.
Experian pulled for both card and fico score of $715
Maybe they discounted the AU accounts? Could it be an income issue?
ETA: Also, what is utilization like? 715 is a good score, but with perfect credit history and AAoA 5.6 years, I would think it would be higher. Maybe if you had balances reporting at time of app, that explains some of it.
She was at a 11% utilisation. Definetly going to recon or show the exit door to chase.
I am sure they come around her begging her for ther business at some point.
I'm offended for you!!!

Although it's a foot in the door with Chase, I think even GE would give you $1000 for a WM card with your credit.
