called citi thurs. i just opened my acct 2 mos. ago. it is a diamond pre. 0% for 21 mos. only got 2.5k limit. had 900 on the card. the citi sup. gave me another 0% until aug. 13 so got a balance transfer +inc. my limit another 2200. at 1st she said it was a hard but came back and said it was soft. checked cr and indeed it was soft. i did a 500 transfer-it cost m(e a 3% bt rate.=$15.. would i have been better to transfer to my capital1 with no bt fee but at 10.9%?. also my eq. went to 751-9 pts short of 760.(fico). darn, i feel blessed in the credit world. it took me 5 yrs 2 build credit score off of a horrible divorce. i owe it all 2 fico forums. thanks guys.
