If FP is the only true unsecured option you have, thats 1 thing. Often though, that isnt the case. And just from being on this board, Ive learned a 300 secured card with no AF and lower interest rate is a better investment than an unsecured 300 CL with a 75 start up AF and 29 percent int

There are many secured card options that cost much less than most FP cards offers.
Only a very few people have bad enough credit that FP is their berst or only choice.
