closing cap1 secured card???

hey guys, i wanna no if i can close my 7 months old cap1 200 secured card.

this is what i have....

opened : cap1 secured 11/12....200

            cap1 platinum 12/12....500 (after 5th statement went to 1500)

           cap1 sony visa 4/13.......500

           PP smart connect  5/13...300 (linked to PP debit card)

          GE amazon store card ......6/13.........700

          GE walmart......................6/13......400

i like all GE cards and hope they grow fast.

so is it too early to CLOSE the damn cap1 secured card? i really wanna do this and apply for cap1 quicksilver.

i'will make sure the bal is zero b4 i close it.

i have BK discharged on 6/12

I'd personally keep it a year, but you have other C1 accounts so it's not making that much difference either way.

Yes.   Even closed, it will remain on your credit report for 10 years, and continue to affect your Average Age of Accounts.
