Re: closing walmart

While I don't ever shop at Walmart, I definitely want to get the card for the FREE TRANSUNION FICO® -- that's something I've been looking forward to.

I also want to get an account with the DFCU in order to get their FREE EQUIFAX FICO®

I have no qualms about spending the $80 in order to get FICO® scores for my husband and myself when our score is finally generated but, if Walmart and DFCU are giving them away for FREE its just common sense to go for that terrific deal.

Why don't you want the FREE TRANSUNION FICO® -- I don't understand your decision?

Husband's Current Score: EX 691 CUSC; EQ 694; TU 687; Mine: EX 773 (AMEX); EQ 720; TU 750
Wallet Contents: SECURED: Capital One Platinum Mastercard, US Bank Harley Davidson Visa, USAA Bank American Express;
UNSECURED: Chase Freedom; USAA Cash Rewards World Mastercard, Discover More, CUSC Platinum Rewards Visa, American Express Zinc, American Express Blue Cash Preferred, Amazon Card, Walmart Discover Card

They also offer $20 off $100 if you open a new Walmart credit/Discover card.

got the offer over christmas.. i think it was from december 1st to the 25th but don't remember the exact dates it was pain to use in the store had to carry a paper coupon that they scan and it was too big to keep in my wallet easily. it was autoautomatic online.

The worst part of shopping at walmart is the "people of walmart"  i know I worked there about 7 years ago, Walmart is great for deals, though the food part of there super centers are not great deals they once were. To happily shop at walmat you just have to avoid weekends, and evenings especially the week of the month they put out there ads then its a mad house of caos.

Cards: Chase Southwest 20k & CSP 10k & Freedom 6.6k & Amtrak 4.6k, FNBO DISC 14.9k Oregon Duck 5k, & AMEX BCP 15k & Hilton Surpass 7.5k & Delta Gold 6k & Zync NPSL, Sally Mae5k Sams Club MC 10k, Paypal Extras MC 6k, CapOne QS 2.5k, QS 750, Amazon 3.9k, Walmart 4.5k, Citi Simplicity 7k, HHonors Gold 1k (moved 5k CL to Simplicity), Discover IT 6.5k and a nice stack of store cards.
