I keep reading about ccc doing soft pulls every month on folks and some of them getting cld's.

if you place a credit freeze on your reports will it prevent the hard pulls but will it stop the soft pulls also?

next question would be, if it stops the soft pulls what do you think the ccc's response to this would be?

No, it won't stop the account review-type soft pulls by your existing creditors.

Once you "open the door" you can't close it, unless you close the account.
