You're at a 11-12% utilization right now.
From my recent experiance, I didn't see a score increase when I dropped from 12% down to 5%, and didn't see a score bump from 5% to less than 1%. Maybe you will have better luck.

Never mind, I misread your post.
You're at 24% right now. You'll probably see an increase in score but not sure how much. I wouldn't bank on 40 point increase though as your utilization is really not THAT high

LS, I don't think its really relavent for this topic. It's not a legal forum.
And possibilities are: student, work visa or spouse visa etc.
I remember there was a time I didn't have a SSN either, nor did my father. My step mom had a visa for work, but we all eventually got SSNs.

I agree. It doesn't matter why.
The topic of the thread is getting a CC without a SS#.
