creditcards.com suggestions

So...I was declined last month for an Amex Delta Gold and Gold charge.  Three weeks later credicards.com is saying that I have a good shot of being approved for the Gold, Delta Gold, and Blue.  I was wondering, what does anyone think about this site?  I've used it previously and I the Cap One Venture and Cash Rewards always pop up.  This is the first time I have seen AMEX on there.  Also, if I have a shot of being approved now, should I call for a recon?  It hasn't been 30 days yet.

With Amex, their recons are done by fax. I could be wrong but I think a change on your credit report or an error- warrants a manual review.
Someone chime in if I'm incorrect.

Re: creditcards.com suggestions

What was the reason they declined you?  Seems like you should have a decent score, CapOne Venture isn't a rebuilder card as far as i know.

Re: creditcards.com suggestions

If I remember correctly it was because of short history, serious deliquency (zero balance charge off paid last summer), and Util % (Below 2% now).

In a nutshell....not much!  Purely for entertainment purposes.  In addition to a Student card, it recommends 3 First Premier cards for me.  Not a chance in...well...you know...!
